Build yourself solid foundations and complete your British Canoeing 2 Star Award with Rapid Development.  This award covers the basic skills required to move both an open canoe and kayak with more control, style and precision.  It is also a pre-requisite for the BC Paddlesports Instructor course.

BC 3 STAR WHITE WATER KAYAK

This award gives you the fundamental skills to manoeuvre your white water kayak in the Grade 2 environment with more style and sophistication.  We will show you the very latest modern techniques that will lay strong foundations for a bright future of white water paddling, and give you individualised coaching to help you maximise your potential.  We will also give you quality rolling coaching and explore fundamental rescue skills that are tried and tested.

BC 3 STAR SEA KAYAK

This award is an important first step in any sea kayaker's paddling journey, as it gives you the solid foundations to manoeuvre your sea kayak in Force 3 winds and Sea State 3.  As well as exploring and developing those all-important boat control and rescue skills with coaching of the very latest techniques, we will also develop your theoretical knowledge and navigation skills.  Quality rolling coaching is also included.

BC 3 STAR OPEN CANOE

This course focuses on the all-important fundamental skills to control the open canoe in both the open water environment (winds to Force 3) and moving water environment (Grade 1-2).  Strong foundations are critical for a bright future of open canoeing; and modern, individualised coaching of our tried and tested techniques will lay those for you.  We shall also explore those all-important rescue skills as well as the fantastic traditional skills of this highly versatile craft.
